The main goal of the study is to establish spatial and temporal distribution pyroclastic material from large explosive eruptions volcanoes Kamchatka, Kuril, Aleutian Islands create a generalized tephrochronological model reveal patterns activity in this region. This paper presents new data on composition volcanic ash (tephra) found Pleistocene deposits northwestern Pacific eastern slope Detroit Rise (northwestern part Imperial Ridge), 450–550 km east Kamchatka Peninsula. Eleven layers lenses tephra aged 28 245 ka, which were previously unknown, studied core Lv63-4-2. Their stratigraphic position age determined based models developed study.
